Done and dusted
Against quite a few odds…. and with a kind of wilful determination to give Loddon and Central Victoria something to be proud of and to celebrate, Loddon Valley Arts Trail went out there - in every way, and made it happen. From an opening in the Eucy Museum that was a gentle confirmation of the crucial role community creativity plays in our world to the final gathering at Calivil Hall where the marvelous Look of Loddon display by supremely talented photographers was a triumph, there were moments of magnificence that rang out across the landscape.
Loddon Valley - in the heart of Central Victoria, between Bendigo and Echuca, a place little known but ready to be discovered.
Totally rethinking the white-box gallery, we head out there, in every way – to heritage venues that marry perfectly with gorgeous art
Ambitiously, creatively, with our sleeves rolled up and a load of optimism, we offer to the young-at-art, the happy wanderer and I-so-need-a-break-to-recharge-my-soul people a 3-day program that defies expectations

It’s the photo comp that invites people to be part of Loddon Valley Arts Trail, with their own Loddon photograph.
This year, the My Loddon photos will go on display at Calivil Hall, where the big Look of Loddon exhibition is showing, and Image Chasers’ Mike Reed will choose a winner and runner up. There’s also a People’s Choice.
