When you head to Calivil, you’ll be joining the beasts and birds beyond the beaten track. And you’ll be very surprised, not just by the dazzlingly different display of art on show in the community hall but also by this place. It’s cared for, it’s quintessentially country, and it’s absolutely guaranteed to lift your spirits. The only thing you’ll need to bring with you is your curiosity: we’ve got paintings full of colour, mystery and glorious nature. We’ve got sculpted wire animals that will amaze and delight. We’ve got little monsters from favourite picture books. We’ve got charming humaroo ceramics, and we’ve even got prints by First Dog on the Moon artist Jon Kudelka. Yep, it’s definitely worth turning off the highway for this one – and there’s Calivil hospitality ready to offer you a bite to eat, in case all that fresh air and intriguing art works up an appetite.
