Carve an eating spoon
Eli Beke
Old Railway Station Bridgewater
Saturday 9.30am-1pm
A workshop that starts with a spoon blank, showing you how to work with hand tools such as a knife, hook knife and gouges, coaxing your eating spoon from the wood chip by chip.
This is master craftsman Eli Beke’s signature workshop, which he’s bringing to Loddon for the first time. His careful instruction is second to none, so you’ll gain confidence and insight into the wood carving craft. He is also a much-admired toolmaker, so you’ll be working with excellent tools to ensure the best chance to make a spoon that you will be proud to take home.
This is a small group workshop, very much designed to make the experience positive and inspiring.
