Evergreen Studio
Teresa Siesmaa
31 Grant Street, Newbridge
Teresa, like her father before her, has always painted, but it was only after retirement from her nursing career that she has had the time to really focus. The accolades have come thick and fast. Most recently, she was awarded People’s Choice for a seascape at the Pyramid Hill Art Show.
Now, with her home studio space updated to how she wants it, with views over the paddocks and the cows walking slowly home in beautiful Newbridge, she is ready to welcome visitors.
Nature is where she starts, then she looks for the movement of a wave or the play of light in leaves stirred by the wind.
Turn off the Wimmera Highway down Newbridge Road and Grant Street is a dirt track to your left. You’ll see the old red truck with the number 31 painted on it that a helpful neighbour installed there to mark the entrance to Teresa’s place.
