Paul Cavell: a retrospective exhibition

In prints and paintings, Castlemaine artist Paul Cavell developed a distinctive style that layered surreal imaginative elements onto well-known places. History both personal and public is woven through the imagery. His technique allows him to create a jigsaw of details within a surprisingly cohesive whole.

This exhibition, curated by his friend Katherine Seppings, is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements, the skill and the creativity of Paul Cavell.
