The Look of Loddon
Image Chasers Photography
Calivil Hall Prairie West Rd
People, places, the ordinary, the extraordinary. This is THE LOOK OF LODDON here and now, and Loddon Valley Arts, in collaboration with the Image Chasers and the Calivil Hall committee, is putting on a unique show.
The Image Chasers are a group of commercial and art photographers who, for many years, have documented country towns, city places and events that have had immense impact. Now, these Image Chasers are Looking at Loddon. Across the winter and through into spring, they gathered in the valley, then headed out in different directions looking for stories about the people and the places, searching for the essence, the heart, bones and being of the shire.
What they captured will be shown for the first time in Calivil Hall, a must-see living museum for young and old, visitor and local alike. The collection will then become an archive, donated to the Loddon Shire for posterity. Image Chasers photographers: Sally Coggle, Roger Hyland, Mike Reed, Helga Salwe, Ian Kuchel, Jodie Grillmeier, Milton Moss, Russell Mason, Keran Woods, Russell Radcliffe
Also on show in the Hall, the creative work of the students from East Loddon P-12 College, responding to the theme “The land around us”, exploring their homes and places in and around their area. What will they make? Can’t wait to find out.
