Chrisanne Blennerhassett
Chrisanne Blennerhassett is a visual artist printmaker who works from her home studio near Newstead. Her primary practice is copper plate etching, a traditional form of printmaking that has changed little since the 16th Century.
As a printmaker with a deep concern for the health of the planet, my work carries an environmental edge. Birds of the local district are a constant source of inspiration and the contemplation of vanishing species are both reasons that drive my practice.
