Workshop: Writing Memoir
David Carlin and Peta Murray
Inglewood Community Neighbourhood House Meeting Room
So many people would love the opportunity of writing a memoir, getting down on paper the rich, unique story of a life, a family, a time, a place.
Don’t just wish. Do it.
This exploratory, playful practice-based session by two of the best in both the writing and teaching business invites participants to develop personal narrative through guided exercises, discussion, and reflection.
This workshop will be co-facilitated by David Carlin and Peta Murray and draw upon the techniques that they used in co-writing their braided memoir How to Dress for Old Age.
Participants should bring: writing materials — laptop and/or pen and paper - and let David and Peta unlock that story for you.
