NESTS: THE BIRD’S ABODE

An ode to the beauty of nests and the birds that build them, this eloquent exhibition is the work of husband and wife team, Michelle and Terry Jarvis. From their home studio in the Wellsford Forest, they have created this exquisite celebration of the nurturing artistry of birds, Terry in his much-admired watercolour paintings, Michelle in woven wire, twigs, twine and vine. This exhibition is a first for the light-filled space of the new Donaldson Park Community Hub, which is a perfect venue for a show all about community, care, safety and refuge.

You can also see some of Terry Jarvis’s paintings in a special display at the Eucy Museum’s Eucy Art Show in Inglewood, which is being judged this year by Terry.

Event: Terry will be demonstrating his painting techniques on Saturday 10.30am-noon and 1pm-2pm
