Darron Davies is based in Castlemaine, and has widely exhibited both digtal and filmwork. His series include The Diggings, Elegy Japan, The Relics of Sport, Wimmera and Written by the Sea. His long-term project, The Rodders, documents through portraiture the members of the Castlemaine Hot Rod club and their cars. A deeply thoughtful photographer, Darron applies his considered approaches to artistic expression to each subject, infusing each image with biographical elements.
