Sarah Wallace-Smith
Sarah Wallace-Smith is a multidisciplinary artist based in Bendigo. Her paintings draw reference from her rural upbringing, family life and ties to the military. Sarah uses layering techniques to incorporate a wide array of materials, from watercolour to gunpowder. Inspiration comes from unravelling memory, sensation, light and experiences as they float to the surface, informing her colour palette, symbolism, form and dynamic tension.
Sarah is showing her work, with Mr Dimples, in the “Hidden in Plain Sight” exhibition in James Boyle Hall, Boort.
