If you crave high-rise and traffic jams… maybe all this space, all this sky, all these historic venues won’t float your boat.
For those who want to breathe big and calm down…
Serpentine is an easy distance from Bridgewater. From the junction and the service station, heading north, the Hall turnoff is on your right, towards the footy oval (Chapel Street). The exhibition is anything but Ordinary (Extraordinary).
Up the road a few kilometres, look for the Longs Road turnoff on your left, which takes you to East Loddon Woolshed and the fabulous Red Bricks installation - you need to book a tour.
On towards Jarklin, you’ll come to Prairie Road West on your right - a straight road to the Calivil Hall where our signature exhibition, The Look of Loddon, is showing.
On to the end of the road at Prairie, turn right for Woodworks at Dingee’s corrugated iron Memorial Hall, or left for Jill Ramskill’s Mitiamo Store show.
Mysia War Memorial School is up this way, on your way to Boort, and a very special, memorable venue that is this year hosting printmaker Helen Timbury.
